Job DescriptionWalk-In Interviews Every Tuesday and Wednesday 6AM - 8
Assist with the following aspects of warehouse operation: crating, pulling product, and unloading trucksLoad loose cartons into trucks to ensure stability during shipmentCollect wood product for the set-up and construction of cratesBuild crates from wooden materials around cartons of product in preparation for shipment by flatbedsRepair or reseal damaged cartons, or rebox product when necessaryConsolidate all accessory and siding products on storage racks when neededPerform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipmentPerform warehouse maintenance and warehouse housekeepingPerform other related duties and assignments as requiredAttend scheduled staff meetings with the Distribution Supervisor, if necessaryPerform basic duties of Warehouse Associate 2 at times, based upon ability and experienceMaintain an accurate time card daily and calculate on a weekly basisActively participate in all plant safety programs, depending on locationQualificationsExperienceNo experience necessary; mechanical aptitude helpfulKnowledgeBasic knowledge of shipping process helpfulMental/Physical/Visual DemandsMust have good eye/hand coordination, excellent manual dexterity including a skill to use hand and electrical tools, and an ability to read and comprehend numbersAbility to lift up to 86 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist and lift 87 to 100 lbs with assistanceMust be detailed oriented, possess good communication skills, and interact well with othersMust be able to separate product by profiling colorWorking ConditionsWarehouse environment with exposure to equipment noise, temperature extremes, and dustPosition requires continual lifting, twisting and bendingEquipment/Tools UsedMust be proficient in the use of a claw hammer, pneumatic nail gun, pneumatic bander, and an electric skill sawSafety glasses and ear plugs must be utilized as instructedMust be willing to obtain a license to operate motorized equipmentIf applicable, may need to be certified to operate a craneSafetySafe work performance is required from each Associate at all timesPerform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety ManualsRequired to wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditionsAdditional InformationWhy work for Cornerstone Building Brands?

RESPONSIBILITIESAssociate assists in the warehouse by crating, pulling product, and unloading trucks.
