Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and efficient warehouse operations. This energetic position combines driving and manual handling tasks, offering an engaging environment for motivated individuals who thrive on moving goods safely and providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for delivering products using box trucks or personal vehicles, while also supporting warehouse functions such as loading, unloading, and material handling. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop your driving skills and gain hands-on experience in logistics operations. Duties Safely operate box trucks or personal vehicles to deliver goods to various locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload shipments using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices and proper weight distribution Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries to maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving stock, and organizing storage areas Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update route information, and communicate with team members effectively Load & unload cargo efficiently while practicing manual handling techniques to prevent injury Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by maintaining professionalism and addressing client needs courteously Experience Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation Proven delivery driver experience, especially with commercial trucks or courier services involving route driving and load management Experience in manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices within a warehouse or logistics environment Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver's license for box trucks or personal vehicles; proficiency in manual transmission is a plus Knowledge of DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and safe driving practices Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation, delivery tracking, and communication purposes Strong customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency This role offers an exciting chance to be part of a fast-paced logistics team where your driving expertise and warehouse skills will make a real impact.
