Job Description

Draslovka Mining Solutions is seeking Material Handlers to join our growing Operations team in Memphis, TN. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Operate forklifts in a warehouse and do safety checks on all equipment that is used in the warehouse area (forklifts, track mobile and spotter truck) Keep warehouse clean, unload caustic rail cars, and operate unloading pumps and associated valves and hoses for that job task Label and load product containers per DOT standards Move bulk containers--either empty or full Keep all mandated training complete and up to date Work with minimal supervision Move railcars and tank trailers with a spotter truck and/or a track mobile Load flo bins from the process using a forklift Unload flo bins to a cam belt to load product containers Load trailers with bulk containers using forklift Run wet/dry vacuum machine in the warehouse Unload tank cars at our unloading facility Material Handlers work a 12-hour rotating schedule (days and nights). In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: High School Diploma/GED equivalent Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including overtime, weekends, holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, climb stairs, stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach overhead. Must be able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as a Level A suit, full face respirator, SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus), safety glasses, steel toes, Tyvek, hearing protection and gloves. Ability to work in all weather conditions. The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: 3 years Industrial/ Chemical plant Experience OR Military Equivalent Experience ​ Prior material handling or warehouse experience Who we are: Draslovka is a global supplier with a family business approach focused on the future of our planet.
