Duties Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport materials safely across the warehouse. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, process orders, and ensure accurate stock control. Pick and pack customer orders with precision using order picker tools and mechanical knowledge to ensure timely order fulfillment. Conduct shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. Perform stock replenishment tasks including stocking shelves, organizing materials handling zones, and maintaining a clean workspace. Implement quality control measures during picking & packing processes to minimize errors and ensure product integrity. Assist in warehouse distribution operations by loading trucks efficiently and ensuring heavy lifting safety protocols are followed. Experience Previous warehouse experience involving order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, or materials handling is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory tracking. Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks; certification is a plus. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic mechanical repairs is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety standards. Strong organizational skills with experience in warehouse distribution or inventory management. Prior supervisory experience as a warehouse supervisor or in managing warehouse operations is beneficial but not required.
