Loudon, TN Pay:
$18.50/hour
Schedule:
Monday- Friday | 6: 00 AM - 2: 30 PM AtWork Personnel is hiring Material Handlers for a manufacturing facility in Loudon, TN. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals looking to join a stable production team and support daily manufacturing operations. Job Summary The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, staging, and organization of materials to support production operations. This role ensures materials are delivered to the correct areas, inventory is maintained accurately, and production teams have the supplies needed to meet daily goals. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and stage raw materials and finished products. Verify materials against work orders and production schedules. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely. Supply production areas with required materials and remove scrap or excess materials. Maintain accurate documentation of material movement and inventory levels. Perform routine inspections of materials and equipment to ensure safety and quality. Communicate shortages, discrepancies, or concerns to supervisors and team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety guidelines. Assist with continuous improvement efforts to improve material flow and production efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred. Forklift experience or certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. And perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
