Job Description
The Mixing Support Associate is responsible for supporting production flow by managing materials, inventory, and logistics activities within the mixing and shipping areas. This position ensures the efficient movement and staging of materials to meet production requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards. Essential Functions Ensure continuous supply of materials to production equipment including Banbury mixers Move and stage raw materials and finished compounds to support production flow Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and other equipment Maintain proper inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures Manage compound and raw material storage locations Complete forklift inspection checklists prior to each shift Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, or workflow disruptions Assist with loading and unloading trailers Transfer materials between plant areas as needed Perform housekeeping tasks including equipment cleaning Support administrative and inventory tracking tasks Perform all other duties as assigned by management Qualifications •High school diploma or equivalent required Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification Knowledge of inventory and material handling processes preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to safety, quality, and efficiency Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (team lift required when necessary) Ability to work in industrial conditions and operate material handling equipment Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times How to Apply Fill out the online application below (if you don't see the application, make sure you've clicked "OK" on the Website Cookie Declaration on the top of the page.)
