Job Description

Taylor County is seeking applications for the full-time position of Warehouse Clerk.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of inventory within the warehouse. This includes receiving shipments, verifying inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming supply shipments, verify quantities and quality against orders and shipping documents. Update inventory records, ensuring accuracy of stock levels. Maintain clean and organized shelves and storage areas, ensuring optimal space utilization and accessibility. Scanning and storing all election records from each election held. Coordinate delivery and pick-up of election equipment from polling locations. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements and order fulfillment. Communicate effectively with management and suppliers.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items, and stand for extended periods. Ability to accurately perform calculations and maintain detailed records. Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office programs. Must be bondable. The equipment/supplies that will be managed is election related; therefore, a high level of confidentiality and integrity is required. Ability to work independently and effectively with others and communicate clearly. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management. Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols. High School diploma or equivalent.
Starting Salary:
