Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Order Selector, working the night shift from 7pm to 5am! In this energetic and fast-paced role, you will be the key driver behind accurate order fulfillment and efficient inventory management. Your enthusiasm and precision will ensure that our customers receive their orders on time, while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Duties Select and prepare customer orders accurately using RF scanners, barcode scanning systems, and warehouse management systems. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment following safety protocols. Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods with manual lifting techniques and heavy equipment operation. Stock shelves, organize inventory, and perform regular inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy. Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring quality control standards are met throughout the process. Follow safety procedures diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to all safety protocols during warehouse operations. Assist in shipping & receiving activities, including verifying shipments against documentation and updating inventory management systems accordingly. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software for accurate order picking and stock control. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely with proper lifting techniques for heavy or bulky items. Excellent attention to detail for barcode scanning, order fulfillment accuracy, and quality control checks. Basic math skills for counting items, measuring quantities, and verifying shipment details. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
