This position will be responsible for the shipping and receiving of product and be able to quickly communicate potential shipping and receiving issues. Individual will be interacting with customers and truck drivers and coordinating special handling of material. Essential Functions Responsible for receiving, unloading and storing incoming product Must be able to properly identify materials and product beling loaded and unloaded Will be responsible for proper signage on paperwork. Responsible for product storage in warehouse. Responsible for inventory count on material. Responsible for inspection of material received. Knowledge of department and plant processes. Perform safety audits. Participate in Lean manufacturing, Gemba and 5S. Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure. Ability to work overtime as required to meet business needs. Demonstrates the ability of attention to detail of product and processes. Maintains an attitude that unlawful or unethical actions are not accepted. Performs other duties directed by leaders and management.
