Job Description

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking skilled and energetic Warehouse Associates to join our growing team of professionals. Our Warehouse Associates expedites incoming and outgoing freight, focusing primarily on receiving, stocking, pulling, staging, loading and shipping merchandise. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be processing inventory and maximizing warehouse space usage by moving the right auto parts to the right place with safety, precision and speed, using an electronic scanner to pull parts, packing and loading them for shipment. NAPA Warehouse Associates should have the agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves (eight feet) with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary. Our Warehouse Associates are also required to have the stamina to stand and walk for the entire work shift; operating warehouse machinery in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures as needed to maintain the warehouse stock. Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clean driving record Pre-employment drug test and background check Ability to maneuver heavy equipment using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. Forklift certification a plus Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred Clear speaking and attentive listening skills Positve and professional attitude Time management skills Must be able to follow instructions Strength to lift and move merchandise of up to 60 pounds Work and independently and accurately to complete assigned duties in a timely manner Attention to detail Motivated to train and learn Team player and must work well with others Desire to go above and beyond the Job Description Perform other duties as assigned by management
