TIME JOB INSIDE SHIP YARD SCHEDULE

MONDAY - FRIDAY ONLY
(7AM-4:15 PM) Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload ships and storage areas. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by accurately picking orders using RF scanners and manual methods. Handle materials safely through manual lifting, stacking, and organizing inventory in designated warehouse or shipyard areas. Support warehouse operations by maintaining inventory accuracy and assisting with stock counts and material tracking. Follow strict safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Load and unload ships efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines for heavy lifting and materials handling. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate daily tasks, prioritize shipments, and ensure smooth workflow. Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, or clamp trucks safely. Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanners is preferred. Knowledge of warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload procedures, and manual handling techniques. Familiarity with safety regulations such as OSHA standards related to heavy lifting, equipment operation, and workplace safety. Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments.
