Job Description
Job Summary:
2 shifts |Afternoon 4pm to 12am or Midnight 12am to 8am (overtime when available) We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our team. As an Injection Mold Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. This is a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards.Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate injection molding machines according to production specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Skills:
- Experience operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment
- Familiarity with press brake machines, logic controllers, and lathes
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine issues
