PeopleReady is now hiring Port General Laborers with a valid TWIC card in the Brownsville, TX area! This is a hands-on, physically demanding position working outdoors and assisting with the handling and movement of aluminum and ingot materials.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $12.50 - $12.50 / hour What you'll be doing as a
Port General Laborer:
Assist with handling, moving, loading, unloading, and staging aluminum and ingot materials Move and organize materials throughout the work area as directed Perform heavy lifting and other physically demanding general labor duties Work outdoors throughout the entire workday in varying weather conditions Assist with keeping materials properly organized and work areas clear of debris Work closely with supervisors and other team members to complete assigned tasks Follow instructions and established procedures for safely handling materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all jobsite and workplace safety procedures Perform other general labor and material handling duties as assigned Available shifts : Shift timings - All Available Job requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady Valid TWIC card required Valid driver's license required Previous general labor, material handling, warehouse, construction, industrial, or similar experience preferred Must be comfortable working outdoors for the entire workday in varying weather conditions Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work throughout the shift Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work effectively as part of a team Dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time Strong focus on workplace safety Drug testing required Ready to take control of the way you work?
