Production Completes required daily schedules. Review the prints and change orders with the supervisor or leadperson to ensure a clear understanding of their responsibilities for the job. Ensures the necessary materials are available to meet the schedule. If materials are incorrect or in short supply, completes a shortage form accordingly. Quality a. Reports any print issues that arise during the construction to the supervisor or leadperson. b. Ensure all work performed meets the Sunbelt standards and assists in maintaining state travelers. c. Implements changes to production methods and standards as directed by supervisor or leadperson. Safety a. Assists in maintaining all equipment in good working order and reports any issues to the supervisor. b. Maintains work areas in a clean and organized manner by cleaning throughout the day and performing a final clean up at the end of the day. Responsible for returning all unused material to stock at the end of the day. c. Trains for proper use of equipment and construction procedures. d. Ensures they are properly instructed in and adheres to all safety policies and procedures. e. Works to minimize accidents and injuries within the department, assists in accident investigations to determine cause and makes recommendations for preventative measures. Materials a. Ensures materials are properly used in each phase of construction and verifies that they match the prints and are appropriate for the job. b. Ensures materials are properly stored during production and returned to designated storage areas when no longer needed. Verifies that materials are kept out of driveways to prevent damage and adequately covered during rainy weather. Performs other duties as assigned.
