Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Duties Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts. Execute accurate delivery driving by following assigned routes, managing time efficiently, and ensuring on-time deliveries. Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean workspace. Use mobile devices or GPS systems for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch. Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, practicing safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns. Experience Prior warehouse experience with material handling equipment operation is preferred. Proven delivery driver experience, especially with commercial trucks or box trucks. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices is highly desirable. Knowledge of warehouse operations including moving inventory, loading/unloading cargo, and adhering to safety protocols. Experience in adhering to traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and weight handling standards in the workplace. Ability to lift heavy loads regularly while maintaining safe lifting practices. Comfort using mobile devices for route management and communication during daily tasks.
