Description:

Solar General Laborer - Mechanical Installer (Solar Construction) Job Description Join a large-scale solar construction project supporting pile, racking, or module installation crews. This role involves outdoor construction work, material handling, use of power and hand tools, and assisting with the installation of solar infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with pile, racking, and solar module installation. Unload, stage, and transport construction materials across the jobsite. Use hand and power tools to assemble and secure solar components. Measure and verify placement, alignment, and installation quality. Support equipment operators and maintain daily production goals. Perform general site cleanup, material organization, and safety tasks. Follow blueprints, supervisor instructions, and site safety requirements. Requirements 1+ year of construction, general labor, or outdoor work experience. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to lift 25+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to walk long distances on uneven terrain. Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity. Preferred Qualifications Solar construction experience. Experience with racking, module installation, steel piles, trenching, or site work. Ability to read construction drawings and perform basic measurements. Work Environment Outdoor solar construction site. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, standing and walking for extended periods, and working in a production-focused environment with daily goals.
