The selected candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the warehouse and store's on-site activities, including managing receipts, stocking and shipping of products, staging and delivering customer orders, and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors. Responsibilities:
Staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies - HVAC. Stock the parts store with an appropriate amount of merchandise. Assist with inventory control and entering inventory into the software system. Deliver parts, supplies, equipment, and other HVAC-related products to customer locations or job sites, as needed. File M/S's, freight bills of lading, and equipment packing slips for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes. File freight claims for damaged goods. Manage receipt, inspection, and stocking products. Determine inventory levels; identify and dispose of excess and obsolete inventory and maintain system inventory accuracy. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications Skills Required:
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Must complete an MVR. Must have good interpersonal and phone skills to communicate and assist inside sales personnel and customers. Load and unload trucks. Pull and put away equipment on pallets or boxes using a forklift. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Education and/or
Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 3 - 5 years of proven forklift experience. 1+ years of experience driving a 20' box truck with liftgate.
