Job Summary Pronto Staffing is now hiring a Shop Hand for a local shop team in Decatur. This position helps with daily shop tasks, material prep, and basic equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate works well with a team, follows safety steps, and stays active throughout the workday. Responsibilities Keep work areas, tools, and the shop clean and organized Help set up, use, and care for machines and shop tools Move, stage, and store materials safely for work projects Load and unload shipments as materials come in and go out Help assemble or take apart products, equipment, and parts Track basic stock and help put away inventory supplies Requirements Past experience in a shop, warehouse, or labor setting is preferred Basic knowledge of shop tools and safety habits Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Must speak English Strong attention to detail and good teamwork skills Work Environment Able to stand and walk for long periods of time Able to lift heavy objects throughout the shift Active shop environment with noise and variable work temperatures Regular use of safety gear including gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection Benefits Benefits may be available depending on assignment.
