Food Distribution / Consumer Goods We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our Denton, Texas warehouse. This role is responsible for executing core warehouse functions including inventory handling, order fulfillment, and quality and safety compliance. This is a hands-on operational role. The Warehouse Associate plays a critical part in maintaining efficient warehouse flow, product accuracy, and adherence to food safety standards while supporting both internal teams and external drivers.
Responsibilities Warehouse Operations:
Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, pick and stage orders, and organize inventory. Rotate products appropriately to maintain inventory accuracy and freshness. Assist with container unloading, reboxing, and occasional support of temporary staffing. Utilize ERP systems to support inventory tracking and warehouse operations.
Safety, Quality & Cleanliness:
Follow SQF (Safe Quality Food) practices and food safety standards at all times. Execute and maintain assigned master cleaning schedules. Support a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
Communication & Coordination:
Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse leadership, and other departments. Support daily operational needs as assigned by the Warehouse Manager. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of warehouse experience preferred. Forklift operation experience preferred; valid forklift or motor vehicle operator's license a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic understanding of inventory systems or ability to quickly learn ERP tools and product codes. Ability to make sound inventory-related decisions. Ability to converse in Spanish preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and stack up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Why Join Us Stable, full-time role with consistent hours.
