Job Title:
1st Shift Material Handler 2 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Material Handler 2 to join our team for the 1st shift. This role involves handling materials with precision and care, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Load and unload trucks with precision and care. Perform repeated and consistent heavy lifting throughout the shift. Verify incoming and outgoing unit counts and unit condition. Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels. Package, unpackage, sort, stage, and prepare units for production. Enter data into systems via PC and RF handheld devices. Perform tasks in a high-speed, high-volume environment. Meet or exceed daily production goals at 80% or higher. Put away and pull equipment and/or parts as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work station. Use material handling equipment such as a pallet jack effectively. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in picking and packing. Proficiency in material handling. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to cross-train in other departments as needed during low work volume. Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled but remains very clean and organized. You will be working the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The facility is metal-free, ensuring a safe and efficient work experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Flower Mound, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
