GENERAL SUMMARY
The Warehouse Lead performs warehouse duties related to receipt, shipment, storage and distribution of products, parts, and materials. Loads, unloads, moves and stores items according to delivery or routing documents or supervisor instructions. Completes necessary reports and freight bills.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(The below listed duties are not all inclusive. This position must also perform other duties as assigned.): Manage inventory control system Maintain product data
  • Assist Owner Operators with locating products or items.
  • Assist Owner Operators with loading shipments.
  • Separate and stage products for customers' next day deliveries.
  • Complete Overage, Shortage, & Damage Reports and complete other reporting as required.
  • Complete freight bills as required.
  • Maintain warehouse as a safe and clean facility.
  • Process miscellaneous projects and tasks as prescribed by the Branch and/or Regional Director.
Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions Schedule pickups and dispatch driver activity on demand Report all findings and discrepancies timely with management and support staff Work performed in a warehouse environment and subject to external climate (very hot and or cold).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
High school diploma/GED Six months' warehouse experience preferred. Must have previous forklift operating experience, or willing to train. Must be able to lift 50 pounds without restriction

This position is Full-Time, 1st Shift (6:00AM-3:00 PM) to assist the operations manager and fill in when the manager is out or unavailable.
