We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Pick-Packer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and handling heavy loads to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Mandatory forklift experience of at least 2 years is required. Use of RF scanners is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Picking:

Accurately pick products from designated storage areas based on order slips or RF scanner instructions. Ensure that the correct items and quantities are picked for each order.

Packing:

Securely pack products into appropriate containers or packaging materials. Label and prepare packages for shipment, ensuring they meet company standards and customer requirements.

Handling Heavy Loads:

Safely lift, carry, and move heavy products (up to 50 lbs/23 kg) as required. Use appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks to assist with heavy lifting.

Forklift Operation:

Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload heavy products as needed. Maintain safety standards while operating the forklift and ensure proper care and maintenance of the equipment. Operate fork truck to load and unload trucks Operate fork truck to place and remove goods from racking

Inventory Management:

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by reporting discrepancies or damaged goods. Participate in regular inventory counts and stock audits.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Quality Control:

Inspect products for defects or damages before packing. Ensure that all orders are packed to meet quality and accuracy standards.

Team Collaboration:

Work cooperatively with other warehouse staff to achieve departmental goals. Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed, such as receiving shipments, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts. Ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs. Experience in use of handheld barcode scanners for order fulfillment is considered an asset. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic data entry using scanning devices is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and computer skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects repeatedly. Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions within the warehouse. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
