Arhaus is looking for dedicated individuals like you to join our distribution center team! General Warehouse Associate IIs are responsible for all aspects of receiving, storing, and distribution of merchandise in support of the business.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Arhaus is looking for dedicated individuals like you to join our distribution center team! General Warehouse Associate IIs are responsible for all aspects of receiving, storing, and distribution of merchandise in support of the business.Day Shift Schedule:
Monday- Thursday, 6:00AM
- 4:30
PM Responsibilities:
Pull and Pick- Operate power mobile material handling equipment. Retrieve all items for delivery or picking and staging inventory accurately in assigned areas Load
- Load furniture into trucks for delivery to hubs, stores and customer homes Receive
- Receive shipments from across the globe, check furniture and accessories shipments, unload, and rack in distribution center Package
- Handle returns from stores and customers, and rack within distribution center
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Ability to lift 150lbs with or without accommodations High school diploma/GED 1- 2 years of experience in a distribution and/or warehouse setting preferred Ability to perform tasks in a standing position for extended periods of time Comfortability with repetitive movements Ability to build respectful and effective working relationships, and collaborate with others to achieve common goals Valid driver's license preferred Working knowledge of computer programs Understanding of general work practices in distribution and/or warehousing, including unloading, loading, picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures Willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to accommodate business needs/overtime Demonstrated ability to take initiative and act as a self-starter Maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty, and ability to show consistency between words and actions
