- Annual performance reviews and opportunities for pay increases Position Summary As a Warehouse Production Assistant, you will perform an array of functions that assist in day-to-day warehouse operations such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Job Duties:
Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles. Accepting delivery of inventory. Counting and confirming inventory. Inspecting inventory for damage. Communicating errors through appropriate channels. Marking and labeling stock. Storing inventory in a proper and accessible manner. Pulling stock, building loads, and wrapping on pallets. Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environmentCustomer Relations:
Work with other team members and customers to solve specific challenges and leverage growth opportunities. Maintain a positive attitude toward customers and associates by being friendly and courteous. Provide customer assistance as needed.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a warehouse environment. Forklift experience (previous certification beneficial).Required Skills:
Clear background. Physical ability for lifting, pushing, bending, and climbing on/off a forklift. Proficient at driving and maneuvering a forklift. Able to lift 50 pounds comfortably. Strong people skills. Willingness to work outdoors during all four seasons. Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance. Lives within successful commute of our branch location. Available to work extended hours. Must enjoy a great working atmosphere where the scope of the day-to-day is varied and interesting. Must be dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator. Excellent time-management and organizational skills required.Job Type:
