Schedule:

10:00 AM - Close (Shifts may run 10-12 hours and end times may vary based on workload) Express Employment Professionals is hiring Cold Storage Warehouse Associates / Produce Packers for local food distribution facilities in McAllen, TX. These positions involve sorting, inspecting, repacking, packing, labeling, and preparing fresh or refrigerated products for distribution. Previous warehouse, produce, or production experience is helpful but not required.

Job Duties:

Inspect, sort, and repack fresh produce and food products Remove damaged or spoiled products Pack, label, and prepare products for storage or shipment Pick, pack, and stage orders according to customer requirements Stack and organize products on pallets Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and proper labeling Operate pallet jacks and RF scanners as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace safety procedures Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed

Requirements:

Previous warehouse, produce, packing, or production experience preferred but not required Ability to work in refrigerated/cold storage environments, including temperatures around 32°F - 45°F Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Ability to lift, bend and move products as required Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment How to
