Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing and warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, strong technical expertise, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in minimizing downtime, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting continuous production processes. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing and warehouse equipment, including HVAC systems, hydraulic machinery, pneumatic systems, and electrical components. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Conduct repairs on equipment utilizing welding techniques such as stick welding and welding with appropriate safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance history. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to identify system faults and execute precise repairs or replacements. Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely while adhering to OSHA standards. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements in machinery performance and reliability. Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems following engineering specifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by maintaining a clean work environment and following proper lockout/tagout procedures. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with internal teams regarding maintenance status or issues. Experience Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or warehouse environments with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and performing electrical maintenance. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and automation troubleshooting. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including installation, repair, and maintenance. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters for diagnostics. Experience operating scissor lifts or similar industrial lifting equipment safely. Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately for complex mechanical or electrical systems. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions. Previous experience with CMMS software is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills in English are required for effective teamwork and reporting. Pay:
$30.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 per week
