Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Material Handler / Asset Recovery Coordinator to support field operations throughout the Permian Basin. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, tracking, and coordinating the movement of company-owned materials and equipment from field locations to inventory yards, disposal vendors, or approved buyers. The ideal candidate has experience in oilfield operations, warehouse logistics, inventory management, and material handling. Successful candidates are safety-focused, mechanically inclined, comfortable working independently in the field, and experienced with inventory systems such as SAP. Responsibilities Travel to company field locations to identify equipment, verify quantities, assess condition, and document assets. Evaluate whether equipment can be redeployed, stored for future use, sold, or scrapped. Coordinate the removal, transportation, storage, disposal, or sale of surplus equipment and materials. Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to maintain accurate asset records. Process equipment transfers, receipts, inventory transactions, and material movements within SAP. Coordinate with vendors, trucking companies, scrap yards, and inventory facilities to support field cleanup activities. Ensure proceeds from equipment sales are properly documented and communicated to Finance. Load, unload, transport, and stage materials at inventory yards and operational locations. Receive, inspect, identify, and verify materials using part numbers, descriptions, and inventory documentation. Accurately maintain inventory records and transaction documentation. Count, weigh, measure, and record materials handled or moved. Label, tag, and organize materials in accordance with company procedures. Maintain clean and organized warehouses, yards, and work areas. Follow all company safety practices, environmental requirements, and operational procedures. Qualifications 3+ years of Permian Basin oil and gas experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, required. Forklift operating experience required; certification preferred. Experience with SAP or a similar ERP/inventory management system required. Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test (hair follicle), MVR, fit for duty and agility.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to safely work in active oilfield and industrial environments, including outdoors in varying weather conditions; frequently stand, walk, bend, and climb; repetitively lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
