Job Description
Frequently leads a team of at least 3 and is accountable for the performance of the OTC team. Performs many of the same duties as team but assigning, training and checking work is a major part of the role.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:- Perform all assigned duties.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and to assist with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of problems.
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effectively demonstrate time management and organizational skills needed to complete competing tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area.
- Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures.
- Read, write and speak English.
Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, transferring and inventory control.
- General knowledge of inventory parts used in assigned area preferred.
Minimum Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Forklift operator certification.
Minimum Experience:
- Typically at least 7 years related purchasing, parts, warehousing or inventory experience.
- Experience with inventory management systems, preferably with Oracle.
- Typically more than 3 years experience in gas compression or related industry.
Leadership:
- Frequently leads a group of at least 3.
- Performs many of same duties as team but training, assigning, monitoring, checking and coordinating work of the of the team is a major part of the job.
- Champions HSE in the team.

- Must meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE required by role.
- Constantly required to stand, display good manual dexterity and to reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to walk with good balance.
- Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds.
- Occasionally required to stoop, twist, kneel, and squat.
- Occasionally required to crawl, climb in and around equipment, stairs and slanted ladders.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Problem Solving and Innovation:
- Most assignments regularly require problem identification and resolution.
- Recommends solutions to non-recurring problems by reviewing, interpreting and evaluating various precedents and data.
- Anticipates and proactively solves moderately complex problems.
- Expected to regularly identify and implement opportunities for efficiency improvements, such as warehouse layout, work processes, etc.
Impact:
- Actions and decisions impact operational, and financial, results.
- Accountable for HSE, quality, and timeliness of assigned team.
Essential Duties:
- Receive incoming materials, supplies and equipment.
- May respond to after hours requests regularly on an on call basis.
- Promote and support safety, production, and positive attitude.
- Schedule work hours for assigned team based on budget, and skills.
- Monitor the work of and train assigned team to ensure quality and timeliness. Participate in the performance evaluation process for assigned team.
- Demonstrate proficiency with and ability to train others to use ERP system to process all shipping / receiving / inventory transactions.
- Unload trucks, inspect material for damage or defects, uncrate and assemble materials if needed.
- Compile data from sources such as purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, pick lists, cycle count reports, etc.
- Process all shipping / receiving / inventory transactions in computer system.
- Operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle, etc.
