Duties Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. Load and unload shipments safely using pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other material handling tools. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP. Conduct regular stock checks, organize warehouse storage areas, and assist with stocking to optimize space utilization. Assist with shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, verifying trade compliance, and coordinating international trade regulations when necessary. Support warehouse distribution activities by managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock movements, and generate reports for management review. Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards, perform routine inspections, and maintain a clean workspace conducive to efficient operations. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for order status updates or inventory inquiries. Qualifications Previous experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred. Proficiency in warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP is advantageous. Basic math skills for counting items, measuring quantities, and verifying shipments accurately. Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure precise recordkeeping. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes, and trade compliance regulations. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and providing customer service when needed.
