General Laborer•Production The General Laborer supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with production, material handling, equipment preparation, and facility upkeep. This role is essential for maintaining workflow efficiency, meeting production targets, and ensuring a safe, organized work environment. Core Responsibilities Production Support Assist machine operators, assemblers, and welders with staging materials, loading components, and preparing work areas. Material Handling Move raw materials, finished goods, and parts using pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (if certified). Assembly Tasks Perform basic assembly, fastening, sorting, and packaging tasks according to production requirements. Quality Checks Inspect parts for defects, verify counts, and report issues to supervisors. Equipment Cleaning Clean workstations, tools, and production equipment to maintain a safe and efficient environment. Loading & Unloading Assist with receiving shipments, staging inventory, and preparing outbound orders. Safety Compliance Follow OSHA and company safety rules, wear required PPE, and report hazards immediately. Required Skills & Qualifications Physical Capability Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, bend, reach, and work in fastpaced environments. Basic Tool Use Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Reliability Strong attendance, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions.
