We are hiring on their behalf for a full-time position at their dietary supplement manufacturing facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. About Liquid Health Sciences Liquid Health Sciences (LHS) formulates and manufactures liquid dietary supplements under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Every batch is made from a written formula, weighed and verified by two people, tested in the lab, and documented from the first ingredient received to the last case shipped. LHS is building a Production department around a long-term career ladder called the Batch Master path. It starts here, with the Apprentice. Are you the person who knows where everything is? The one who checks the count twice, keeps the dock organized, notices when a label is wrong, and does not mind gloving up to clean at the end of a run? If you have run a forklift, worked a shipping dock, or handled inventory, and you want to build toward a skilled production career, this role was written for you. What you will do Your home base is the warehouse. You will be the person who receives raw materials, labels and quarantines them until Quality releases them, keeps the stockroom accurate, and gets finished goods out the door. Specifically, you will: Receive incoming materials, supplies, and components; check them against purchase orders; label, tag, and place them in quarantine until Quality releases them. Stock released material and retrieve approved labels from Quality. Pick ingredients and components for each batch from the Master Manufacturing Record, verify that every item is correct and not expired, and stage them in the order they will be added. Count and reconcile materials after each production run, restock what was not used, and record the quantities. Palletize, wrap, and ship finished goods; load and unload trucks; operate forklifts, lifts, and pallet jacks. Keep receiving, storage, and shipping records that are accurate, legible, and completed at the time the work is done. You will also cross-train and work in the rest of the plant as production demands. Over your first months you will learn to:

Blending:

set up the mix room, verify line clearance, charge ingredients in formula order with a second person verifying every weight, and record mix time, speed, and temperature.

Packaging:

set up and change over filling and capping equipment, check fill weights, cap torque, seal integrity, and lot and expiration codes, and reconcile labels at the end of the run.

Laboratory support:

run basic in-process tests such as pH, specific gravity, color, and Brix; take micro and allergen swabs; prepare and label reagents; and clean and store glassware.

Facilities and maintenance:

perform scheduled preventive maintenance and minor repairs, check scale calibration, apply food-grade lubricants, and keep maintenance logs. Sanitation, in every role: pre- and post-operational cleaning, visual and ATP verification, proper handling of cleaning chemicals in PPE, gowning, and housekeeping. What we are looking for High school diploma or GED. Entry level is fine. No manufacturing experience is required; we will train you. Warehouse, shipping and receiving, forklift, brewing, food and beverage, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical experience is a plus, as is any exposure to cGMP or HACCP. Ability to read and follow written procedures and batch records (maintained in English) and to do basic math: weights, unit conversions, and percentages. A high level of attention to detail and neat, accurate handwriting. In this facility, if it was not written down, it did not happen. Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office. Willingness to rotate through every role, and to gown up, wear PPE for the full shift, and follow lockout/tagout and confined-space rules. Physically able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to stand and walk for an 8-12 hour shift; bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, and climb ladders; lift 50 lbs on your own and 100 lbs with help; and work in warm rooms (up to 80°F with humidity), moderate noise, and forklift traffic. Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not required. Why this role Most warehouse jobs stop at the dock. This one does not. Internally this position is titled Batch Master Apprentice - Warehousing, and it is Level 1 of a production career ladder that runs from Apprentice to Batch Master Technician, Lead, Supervisor, and Manager over a career, modeled on the way brewmasters are trained. You will log on-the-job training hours across every role, earn your forklift, lockout/tagout, and chemical safety certifications, complete cGMP training, and be assessed on practical skills as you go. Apprentices who complete 6,240 training hours (about three years full-time), 20 hours of continuing education per year, and all practical assessments are eligible to advance to Batch Master Technician (Level 2), a skilled production role that pays accordingly. You will learn how a regulated product is made end to end, and you will be part of a small team where your work is visible and your ideas for reducing errors are heard. Compensation, schedule, and benefits $18.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications. Candidates with forklift certification and food, beverage, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience will start toward the upper end of the range. Full-time, hourly, non-exempt. Day shift, Monday through Friday; shifts run 8-12 hours depending on production, with overtime paid as required by law. Training required in your first 90-180 days is paid and provided: cGMP introductory eLearning, forklift certification, chemical hygiene and laboratory safety, lockout/tagout authorization, and internal procedure training in every role.
