Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse General Labor to join our dynamic distribution center team. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, handling inventory, and operating various types of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety standards. Contact 714-833-8474 via text or call if interested. Responsibilities Loading and unloading in shipping and receiving. Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring proper handling of materials and products Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with accuracy and attention to detail Support shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch of goods Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency Assist in materials handling tasks including stocking shelves, packaging products, and moving inventory throughout the facility Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory control initiatives and process improvements Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues when necessary Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing environments with familiarity in warehouse management systems (AS400 preferred) Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control procedures, and order fulfillment processes Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on warehouse equipment Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Experience in shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and load & unload procedures Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for accurate inventory tracking Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking within a large warehouse setting Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required; mechanical knowledge is advantageous This role requires a proactive approach to safety and efficiency while supporting daily warehouse operations. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
