Job Description

East/West Manufacturing Enterprises (EWME) is a fast growing, Austin-based, Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Electronics Contract Manufacturing company. Our work environment is casual and fun, but we also work hard. The ideal candidate will be positive, proactive, innovative, and have a "can-do" attitude. The candidate will be comfortable doing whatever needs to be done to make the manufacturing process run efficiently. The Material Handler/Warehouse is responsible for all incoming and outgoing material and products. Must be familiar with the electronics assembly process. 1. Responsibilities Sort parts kits and checks for part number accuracy Verify parts counts Communicate discrepancies to the purchasing manager Ensure parts are not damaged Help unpack, sort, verify counts, verify parts are in the condition as noted Prepares kitting packages for manufacturing and assembly Assist in First Article inspections of printed circuit boards, as needed Identify and record any product quality problems Maintain accurate and prompt record keeping Ensure all inventory transactions are updated in the ERP system Maintain a clean and ESD safe work area Keeps warehouse area organized and clean at all times Adhere to

procedures to maintain compliance Communicate effectively Work under limited supervision

• Adapt to multiple/changing priorities 2. Qualifications Experience inspecting

PCB/PCBA

-must be able to identify components Experience inspecting PCB, metal parts, heatsinks, etc Experience with receiving process Hand/eye coordination (working with small parts) Strong computer skills in Excel, Word and ERP system as a minimum Must be able to read and comprehend English Strong attention to detail Demonstrated organizational skills Able to lift up to 30 pounds Essential physical requirements necessary to perform this job Able to work independently and as part of a team Confident, professional demeanor and ability to maintain composure in a busy environment U.S. Citizen or valid work authorization is required Experience with the following is a plus (although not required) Ability to use hand tools, microscope, and soldering equipment Be able to solder, and inspect, to IPC and/or Aerospace standards 3-5 years experience in SMT & Through Hole Soldering

IPC-A-610

certification a plus 3. Education High School diploma or equivalent ( 1 year of working experience) preferred

From $16.50 per hour
