In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within the warehouse environment. Your expertise in material handling, and warehouse management systems will ensure smooth operations, accurate order fulfillment, and safe working conditions. The ideal candidate will bring strong warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to supporting our supply chain processes. Duties Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and track inventory. Perform order picking tasks with pickers and other tools to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Handle shipping and receiving duties byJ verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries. Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling activities, including pallet jack operations and load securing. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials on pallets or shelves. Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment to support accurate inventory levels. Follow OSHA safety standards and mechanical procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Support warehouse supervision by adhering to operational procedures for load & unload activities and reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking technologies and SAP. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling. Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods.
Pay:
$17.50 - $19.00 per hour
