Overview Join our team as a Material Handler and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials to ensure smooth and safe warehouse functioning. Your proactive approach will help maintain inventory accuracy, support shipping and receiving processes, and uphold safety standards across all activities. Responsibilities Safely load, unload, and transport materials a forklift. Occasionally pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately. Manage inventory by organizing stock in designated warehouse areas and conducting regular stock counts to ensure accuracy. Operate heavy equipment responsibly while adhering to OSHA safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage. Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean, organized workspace that complies with safety standards and promotes efficient warehouse operations. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse operations. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts. Prior experience with order picking, inventory management systems is a plus. Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols aligned with OSHA regulations for warehouse environments.
