Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of a warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving of goods. This role requires individuals to be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties Order Fulfillment:
Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications. Ensure the correct products are selected and packed for shipment. Label packages with shipping information and prepare them for dispatch. Follow all Company policies in regards to proper packing, Palletizing, labeling of outgoing orders. Safely operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload materials from trucks and storage locations. Ensure that the equipment is maintained and used safely. Immediately report any issues to the team lead, or department manager.
Receiving & Storing Goods:
Unload and unpack shipments from suppliers. Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and report them. Organize inventory in designated areas, ensuring that it is easy to access and track.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory audits. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing items. Perform regular stock checks and update inventory systems.
Safety and Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow all safety procedures, including the proper handling of hazardous materials if necessary. Ensure that all storage areas comply with safety standards. Immediately report all safety hazards or concerns to department manager, lead, or HR Manager .
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and department managers to meet operational goals. Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., sales, office staff) Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Skills 2 years of previous experience in shipping and receiving is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team. May involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Potential exposure to warehouse hazards such as noise, temperature fluctuations. Forklift certification is required.
