Job Description Job Summary:
As a Dock Worker for H-E-B Transportation, you'll load and unload trailers, safely and thoroughly. You'll operate MHE and promote a safe, clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Transportation Operations:
Plans and facilitates daily loading and unloading of H-E-B trailers of specific reusables (e.g., pallets, plastic trays and crates, boxes, wrap, ties, assorted returns) Loads and unloads trailers in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with SOPs; unloads completely Maintains clean trailers; operates wash equipment; washes trailers as needed Operates material handling equipment Promotes a safe and clean work environment Maintains a sense of urgency; always prompt and punctual Escalates issues outside parameters to appropriate parties The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
