Job Description
Overview The Technology Specialist is responsible for handling system support activities for the organization. Accountability for providing excellent client experiences and working to resolve support issues in a prompt and professional manner. Ensures base Client Support responsibilities satisfactory. The following essential functions are not an all-inclusive list of work requirements. Individuals will perform other job-related duties as assigned, including work in other areas to cover absences or otherwise balance the workload.
Essential Functions:
1. Excellent customer- service skills and the ability to enter and work tickets in helpdesk software. 2. Assist users in the area(s) of password reset, desktop application support (Microsoft Office products, various internet browsers, and Adobe), Windows Operating System troubleshooting, hardware troubleshooting, Active Directory, remote support, hosted telephone system support and basic printer/scanner support. 3. Perform periodic reporting of system status to include uptime, incidents, problems, and open issues, etc. 4. Go on on-site calls for technical problems. 5. Assist in answering help desk calls when needed. 6. Set up computers for deployment to customers when needed. 7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned.
