Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, equipment operation, and order fulfillment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, hand trucks and pallet jacks to move products efficiently. Workable.com Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts. Physical stamina and dexterity for work involving lifting and moving heavy loads. Fulfilling logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy. Excellent working knowledge of warehouse data systems including Microsoft Word. Processing, packing and shipping orders accurately Restocking and maintaining an inventory of orders as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and adherence to employer and state safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Inspecting items for defects and reporting as required. Inventory skills and excellent communication skills Skills Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. • Proficiency in operating forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective inventory management. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Experience working under the supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the warehouse environment.
