Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Loader/Freezer Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading products in a cold storage environment, ensuring the safe handling of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Your energetic approach will help keep our warehouse running smoothly, supporting timely shipments and inventory management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations, heavy equipment handling, and logistics within a vibrant team environment. Responsibilities Load and unload shipments using appropriate materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes while adhering to safety protocols. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to move products within the freezer warehouse, including order pickers and material handling machinery. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting to ensure products are properly stored or prepared for shipment. Utilize RF scanners and basic math skills to accurately track inventory, process orders, and update warehouse records. Assist with order picking, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the freezer warehouse to promote safety and operational efficiency. Follow OSHA safety standards rigorously, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols during all warehouse activities. Experience Previous experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers. Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanners is advantageous. Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving processes and materials handling procedures. Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not required; we value proactive team players willing to learn. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling tasks. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and working in cold storage conditions. This role is paid — we value every team member's contribution!
