The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. This role is essential to ensure smooth logistical processes and efficient shop operations. Responsibilities Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently Assist with warehouse operations including receiving, sorting, storing, and distributing inventory Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records Perform cleaning duties to ensure the workspace remains organized, safe, and compliant with safety standards Support shop activities as needed, including basic maintenance and organization of tools and supplies Follow safety protocols at all times during equipment operation and general warehouse activities Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse or shop hand roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Ability to operate forklifts or material handling equipment is highly desirable Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks throughout the shift Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
