Duties Assist with the loading, unloading, and storage of heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and rigging gear on-site Maintain an organized yard by managing inventory of pipes, tools, and materials used in pipeline and drilling projects Support construction crews by preparing work areas and ensuring all equipment is ready for use Operate basic heavy machinery under supervision, including excavators and forklifts, following safety protocols Conduct routine inspections of yard equipment and storage areas to identify hazards or maintenance needs Assist with logistical tasks such as moving supplies via commercial trucks or tankers to support ongoing operations Follow OSHA guidelines diligently to promote a safe work environment for all team members Requirements Prior experience working on oil rigs or construction sites involving heavy equipment operation is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge related to pipeline systems, horizontal drilling, and general oil & gas infrastructure Ability to operate machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks safely and efficiently Familiarity with rigging techniques and OSHA safety standards applicable to construction and industrial environments Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or tanker endorsement is a plus Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures including OSHA regulations This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the oil & gas industry while contributing to critical infrastructure projects.
