About the Position The Fabrication & Warehouse Technician supports the daily operation of our fabrication shop, warehouse, material logistics, and field installation teams. Working directly alongside our current Shop & Fabrication Lead, you'll receive hands-on training in custom sheet metal fabrication, warehouse operations, logistics, and eventually Architectural Composite Material (ACM) panel fabrication. What You'll Be Doing Fabrication Learn to operate folders, shears, and fabrication equipment Fabricate architectural trim packages Produce custom sheet metal components Maintain fabrication equipment Assist in developing our expanding ACM fabrication department Perform quality control inspections Read fabrication drawings and dimensions Organize fabricated material for upcoming projects Warehouse Operations Receive incoming materials Organize warehouse inventory Stage materials for upcoming jobs Load installers each morning Pull material orders accurately Maintain clean and organized warehouse conditions Logistics Deliver materials to jobsites Pick up materials from suppliers Operate forklifts Learn safe trailer towing procedures Assist with equipment movement Coordinate material flow between suppliers, warehouse, fabrication, and field crews Team Support Assist field crews as needed Help improve warehouse systems Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Take ownership of day-to-day operational responsibilities What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Enjoys working with their hands Is mechanically inclined Learns new equipment quickly Takes pride in craftsmanship Is dependable and punctual Works well independently Is organized and detail-oriented Communicates well with others Has a positive attitude Wants to build a long-term career Preferred Qualifications Construction experience Manufacturing or fabrication experience Sheet metal experience Forklift experience Warehouse experience Experience pulling trailers Ability to read shop drawings or fabrication drawings Basic computer skills Experience operating folders or shears is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
