Job Description
1st shift 7:30am-4pm - Tuesday and Thursday ONLY Elite Staffing is hiring General Labor / Food Processing Associates to support operations at a facility in Amelia Courthouse, VA. This is a hands-on position working with incoming food products and materials. Employees will primarily remove food products from shipping boxes and packaging and prepare the material for processing, storage, or production. Responsibilities Remove food products and materials from boxes and other shipping packaging Prepare materials for processing, storage, or production Inspect products and materials for visible damage or issues Sort and properly dispose of cardboard, plastic, and other packaging materials Perform general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the work area Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris Follow established safety, quality, and workplace procedures Assist with other general labor duties as needed Qualifications Previous experience in one or more of the following is preferred: Assembly line or production work Deboxing, unpacking, or sorting Warehouse or distribution environments Food processing or manufacturing Cleaning and industrial housekeeping Fast-paced fulfillment operations, such as Amazon or similar facilities Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move materials as required Comfortable working in an active processing/production environment Wearing all PPE at all times including a mask #IND5
