Job Description
Garber Motors is a family-owned and operated used car dealership looking for a self-motivated, dependable, and hardworking Dealership Operations Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy, working independently, and being involved in different aspects of the dealership. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable driving vehicles, and willing to learn the automotive business. Responsibilities Transport vehicles from automotive auctions to our dealership or local automotive shops Pick up and deliver vehicles, parts, documents, and other dealership-related items Run dealership errands, including trips to the DMV, post office, banks, and other locations Handle paperwork and assist with title, registration, and other vehicle-related documents Pick up automotive parts and supplies as needed Test drive vehicles to evaluate performance and identify potential issues Assist with moving, parking, and organizing inventory on the dealership lot Assist the sales team with customers and vehicle sales Learn and perform basic dealership sales responsibilities Help coordinate vehicles going to and returning from service and repair shops Perform other day-to-day dealership tasks as needed Qualifications Must have a clean driving record Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be willing to obtain an automotive salesperson license Self-motivated and able to work independently Dependable, punctual, and responsible Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable interacting with customers, vendors, auction personnel, and automotive shops Able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities Professional attitude and strong work ethic Previous automotive, dealership, sales, or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person Because we're a family-owned and operated dealership, everyone plays an important role.
