Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Technician to join our team. This position plays an important role in receiving, organizing, preparing, and delivering flooring materials while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse. Responsibilities Follow all company safety procedures and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety. Receive, inspect, process, and organize incoming and outgoing flooring materials. Sort and store materials in their designated locations, including racks, shelves, and bins. Prepare and stage flooring materials such as carpet, vinyl, plank, and other products for delivery or installation. Operate carpet and vinyl cutting equipment safely and accurately. Properly load and unload materials for deliveries and installation projects. Safely lift and move flooring materials weighing 50+ pounds as needed. Operate a forklift to move and organize warehouse materials. Deliver and/or pick up materials from installer and customer locations. Assist with minor building and facility maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, office, kitchen, and restroom areas. Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Must be dependable, willing to learn, and trainable/coachable . Ability to regularly lift and move 50+ pounds . Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation to and from work. High school diploma or equivalent. Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications — Not Required Previous warehouse experience. Previous flooring industry experience. Forklift operating experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish . The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, safety-minded, willing to learn, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in keeping the warehouse and work areas organized. Prior flooring or warehouse experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
