Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will support daily operations by handling materials, preparing shipments, moving flower boxes in/out of our cooler and maintaining organized storage areas. Your proactive approach and strong work ethic will contribute to the smooth flow of warehouse distribution and order fulfillment processes. Canadiates must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs and handle boxes at shoulder or above head height. Responsibilities Assist with order picking and packing to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products Support shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading trucks, verifying inventory, and updating warehouse management systems Perform stock replenishment tasks including stocking shelves and organizing storage areas for optimal accessibility Conduct quality control checks on items to ensure they meet company standards before dispatch Help with mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment operation and maintenance Support warehouse supervisor with inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse distribution duties Requirements Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred Valid certification or experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus Experience with RF scanners, order picker tools, and shipping & receiving procedures is advantageous Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in picking & packing, stocking, and quality control tasks Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Join us for this dynamic opportunity where your contributions will directly impact our operational success!
