Job Summary:
As a Materials Handler , you will play a key role in transporting materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. This position requires reliability, organization, and a strong work ethic to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. This is a full-time role and requires mandatory overtime in times of heavy workloads.

1st shift
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Job Responsibilities:
Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations. Transports, loads and unloads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids). Keeps all material handling equipment in working order by conducting regular maintenance and inspection. Records inventory statuses. Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in fast-paced environment Ability to follow directions Good time management and ability to multi-task Maintain a clean workstation
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements and Safety Prolonged standing and walking. Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack, forklift and/or clamp truck. Must be able to lift up/move to 55 pounds at a time. Must be able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools. Support workplace safety and abide by OSHA policies, procedures, and instructions. Report hazards and injuries and seek advice on safe work practices.
