MATERIAL HANDLER

Key Responsibilities:

Safely move product load around the facility to ensure timely and complete delivery. Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags or labels. Assembles materials for the order. Reads, understands, and follows shop work order. Follows set guidelines for quality of product. Examine products to verify conformance to specifications. Perform checks for quality and accuracy of product and order. Packages the order per specific requirements. Maintain 5S in work area and department.

Qualifications:

Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior packing and shipping experience preferred. Demonstrated stable work history preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require frequent bending, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees should be able to perform this duty with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to work the required scheduled hours from 6:00AM-4:30PM M-T. Must be available for overtime as production needs require with occasional
