Martinsville, VA Employment Type:
Part-Time, Temp and scheduled as needed, On-Site Position Summary G&C Medical Technology Inc. is building a team of 2-5 dependable Temporary Warehouse and General Labor Associates to support the daily operations of our Martinsville manufacturing and distribution facility. Employees may assist with loading and unloading, material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory counts, labeling and packing, warehouse organization, cleaning, light assembly, and other general facility or production-support tasks. Main Work Assist with the daily physical work of a warehouse & distribution center, including:- Loading and unloading cartons and pallets
- Opening, sorting, counting, and checking incoming products
- Verifying SKU, lot number, quantity, packaging condition, and visible damage
- Labeling cartons, applying pallet or location labels, and organizing inventory
- Moving, palletizing, wrapping, staging, and putting away materials
- Picking, packing, repacking, kitting, and preparing outgoing shipments
- Assisting with inventory counts and recounts
- Setting up warehouse areas, shelving labels, floor markings, boxes, and supplies
- Sweeping, mopping, removing trash and cardboard, and keeping warehouse, work areas, loading areas, and common areas clean and organized
- Performing other basic warehouse, facility, or production-support tasks as assigned Work will be assigned and supervised by the Warehouse Coordinator or designated company management. What We Are Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to complete physical and repetitive work
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions and count products accurately
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds during a shift
- Willing to follow safety rules, PPE requirements, work instructions, and company procedures
- Able to report damaged products, inventory differences, unsafe conditions, or other problems promptly
- Comfortable using a phone, scanner, checklist, or basic inventory-counting form
- Warehouse, shipping, receiving, cleaning, packing, or general-labor experience is helpful but not required
- Pallet-jack or forklift experience is a plus; equipment may only be operated by trained and authorized employees
- Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to the Martinsville facility
